Kirsten Dunst slipped up in an interview and leaked confirmation of Spider-Man 3's villains:

Thomas Hayden Church is Sandman

Topher Grace is Venom


not sure how they're gonna write the whole symbiote into the film,
i know it's theorized that they're writing Venom to be more like an evil mirror image spidey.
sounds logical considering Topher could have been Peter Parker anyhow.

can't wait to see what this will look like...

Thats terrible news. Venom should be dragged out over 2 movies. First movie spidey with simbiote, second with venom.

Besides, there's only one man who could play Eddie Brock correctly.

I think Thomas is going to be Venom and Topher Sandman though.. that would make more sense. Raimi himself has stated they will both be playing villans and that Venom will be in the movie. That is all tho

i dunno..i read about the evil mirror image spidey awhile back too, so it would kind of make sense for topher to be playing venom. Could be wrong though...kirsten dunst could be wrong too, as she is kind of an idiot.

well Raimi has a strong dislike of Venom as a character, but this isn't exactly 100% in his hands. Sony's been crawling with production sketches for licensing.

Topher's mentioned working out the last 7 months and bulking up for his role.

it'll probably be like ultimate spider-man if you've ever seen how brock isn't much biggest than Parker, and has them as school buddies.

Topher Grace huh? It's gonna be hard for me to take that seriously unless the makeup and effects are incredible. Otherwise, all I am gonna see is the dorky guy from that bad Scarlett Johanson/Dennis Quaid movie. ::shudders::

Does this mean that Red from [That 70's Show] is gonna be Carnage?!
